Terms & Conditions

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Users aged 13–17 may use the App with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
• You must be located in or have a legitimate connection to the Philippines to use the App's region-specific features.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

All new accounts start with the Client role. Additional roles may be applied for:

• Service Provider — offer services in the marketplace.
• Product Provider — list and sell products in the e-commerce section.
• Rider — provide ride-hailing services.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your credentials with others. Notify us immediately at admin.appinoy@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

• Emergency alerts are broadcast to Appinoy users within a 5 km radius of the alert's location.
• You must only submit genuine emergency alerts. Submitting false, misleading, or spam alerts is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.
• Appinoy does not guarantee the response time, accuracy, or completeness of emergency alerts.
• The emergency alert feature is provided free of charge to all users.

• Location sharing within a team is entirely voluntary and user-controlled. You must explicitly enable sharing within the App.
• When sharing is enabled, your real-time location is visible to other active members of that specific team only.
• Team administrators may see the location of all sharing members. As a team member, you will see the location of other sharing members but not the admin.
• You may disable location sharing at any time through the team map screen.
• Appinoy is not liable for decisions made by team members or administrators based on shared location data.

• Appinoy provides the platform to connect clients with service providers. We are not a party to any agreement formed between them.
• Service providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Appinoy.
• Appinoy does not verify the professional qualifications of service providers, though we reserve the right to remove providers for violations of these Terms.
• Users are encouraged to review providers and report any disputes to admin.appinoy@gmail.com.

These features are currently under development and are not yet available in the App. When launched, additional terms specific to these features will be published and incorporated into these Terms. Users will be notified before these features go live.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading emergency alerts, service listings, or reviews.
• Use the App to harass, threaten, stalk, or harm other users.
• Collect or harvest other users' personal data without their consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its infrastructure.
• Create multiple accounts to evade suspension or bans.
• Use the App in violation of any applicable Philippine law, including the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (RA 10175) and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
• Use the location tracking feature to surveil, stalk, or monitor individuals without their knowledge and consent.

The Appinoy name, logo, app design, and all original content within the App are the intellectual property of Appinoy and are protected under applicable Philippine and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written permission.

Content you submit (such as emergency report media or service listings) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant Appinoy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and store it solely for the purpose of operating the App.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Appinoy disclaims all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Appinoy shall not be liable for:

• Any failure to receive or act on emergency alerts due to connectivity issues, device limitations, or app errors.
• Harm arising from reliance on the team location tracker.
• Disputes between clients and service providers or product sellers.
• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or ₱500, whichever is greater.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, with or without prior notice.
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at admin.appinoy@gmail.com.
• Upon termination, your right to access the App ceases immediately. Data deletion will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through written notice. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the appropriate courts of the Philippines.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance.
